This is a sophisticated constellation star map from 1820 drawn by A. Jamieson. The map was first published in 1822 in London.
The map represents the Southern Celestial Hemisphere sky and shows many constellations and stars of it. Some of the constellations you may observe on this map are Canis, Orion, Columba, Apparatus Sculptoris, Aquarius, Sagittarius, Scutum Sobieski, Antinous, Pisces, Centaurus, Libra, Serpens, Virgo, Phoenix, Cetus, Capricorn, Hydra, Corvus, Machina Electrica, and many others.
Your map will be printed on a photo archival paper with a texture like linen fabric texture. The paper is 250 gsm which is 8.6 oz per square meter. Your giclee print will be made with a laser printer from a high-resolution image of the original map.
