You can personalize the color for the inside of the book- I use fine card stock- you can tell me in a message after your purchase what you prefer for the Inside covers:

2. Cardstock stained with homemade coffee I hand dye myself

This one-of-a-kind journal is made with love to bring you a piece of nature and old-school memories altogether in your daily life. Inspire yourself when you write about its coffee-colored, made-to-look old. With this natural journal, you can practice your calligraphy or drawings when you got inspiration or write your loved poems next to a window on a sunny day!

You may choose to have this journal with both covers made of birch bark, both covers with linen fabric, or one bark and one fabric cover. You may also choose from different measures and if you don't like the ones available, please message me and I will create one custom measure journal just for you.

I have glued the fabric and the bark to the cardstock with strong eco-friendly glue for the stronger outfit of the journal. The pages are carefully bound in the covers with natural linen thread. Before I bind the journal I color and make look old the pages with coffee. It is a meditative process of crafting with love and care.

Birchbark and linen burlap fabrics are eco-friendly materials that are strong and useful for decent crafts in my shop, thus replacing some oil-produced other materials (like plastic and fake leather) or violate any other nature-destructive exploit of earth materials (metals, chemistry industry, and such). This fabric also saves leather from farm animals like cows, for example.

The shipping packaging is made with the extra protection of bubble postal envelopes, reclaimed soft materials, and card boxes. We reclaim packaging materials from technology products unboxed from different local shops.

We will donate a sum from your purchase to plant one tree with the Bulgarian Foundation 77. We will leave a monthly report for the donated money of a given Month in our blog section on the website.

Thank you for visiting our handmade shop!
