Miniature framed arts and maps have landed on ExiArts website.

Hello, Friends of ExiArts,

Today I want to share with you my latest handmade creations in the miniature world. In the last week I have crafted new miniature 'paintings' for your dollhouses or for your architectural projects. I hope you will like them and that they can fit well for a decoration of your miniature collections or mini houses and rooms. The minis are in 1/12th scale.

They are available in our 'Dollhouse Miniatures' shop section at the link below:

Three handmade miniature framed landscape drawing prints that are pictured around Thuya branches, driftwood and stones

I handcraft them with real pinewood for framing. I take for a base a very strong and thick crafting cardstock on which I glue my art prints from my own drawing collection. Then I use eco-friendly Italian mordant to color the wooden frames in dark brown as I wanted them to look old frames.

For those of you who do not know me I am Hristo Hvoynev from Bulgaria and I am an artist and a craftsman since 2013. I love drawing nature landscapes, cottage houses and fantasy arts.

On the picture above is the miniature titled "Magical tree". I drew the original drawing back in 2013. The size of the miniature is 2.5'' x 3.2''- 8 x 6.4 cm. with a thickness: 0.2'' which is 0.5 cm.

As I have grown in the mountains I love trees very much- I adore them! They are magical creatures that are capable of lifting our souls and imagination.

So, for my current miniature framed art collection I use selected art prints from my original drawings, most of which have been sold to one of my best art fans- Diane from the United States and Isabelle from France.

The next miniature is the one on the picture above. Its size is 3.1'' x 3.8''- 8.9 x 9.8cm. with a thickness of 0.2'' which is 0.5 cm.

The name of the original drawing from which I have made the tiny print is 'Eilean Donan Castle'. This castle is located in Scotland. Eilean Donan is recognized as one of the most iconic images of Scotland all over the world. Situated on an island at the point where three great sea lochs meet and surrounded by some majestic scenery, it is little wonder that the castle is now one of the most visited and important attractions in the Scottish Highlands.

I drew the original drawing back in 2014 for a commission by one of my best art fans Diane from the United States.

Next mini framed art with pinewood you can see on the picture below.

Its size is 2.1'' x 2.5''- 5.2 x 6.4 cm., thickness: 0.2'' which is 0.5 cm.

The name of the original drawing from which I have made the tiny print is 'Mountain hut'. This art represents a typical Rhodopean old-style hut in Bulgaria.
The Rhodopes are a mountain range in Southeastern Europe, with over 83% of its area in southern Bulgaria and the remainder in Greece. Its highest peak, Golyam Perelik (2,191 m), is the seventh highest Bulgarian mountain. The region is particularly notable for the Karst areas with their deep river gorges, large caves, and specific sculptured forms, such as the Trigrad Gorge.
The people in Rhodope build houses from rocks, wood, mud, and straws and they make their yards with many sub-gardens and garden terraces.
The hut expressed on the print ( when I was drawing the original) came from my imagination. I love drawing things I imagine with some theme and a story around it in my head.

I will post now a lot of pictures for you to be able to observe well the new art miniatures.
